Niki Aguirre
Niki Aguirre is a London-based fiction writer, born in the United States to Ecuadorian parents. She studied English Literature at the University of Illinois and holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of London. After Niki’s debut collection of short fiction, 29 Ways to Drown was published in 2007, she was named a writer for the future by International PEN. Niki’s awards include the Birkbeck Outstanding Achievement Award for Creative Fiction and a grant from the Arts Council England. Her short stories have been published in Tell Tales, Mechanics’ Institute Review, LITRO and Pen International Magazine
