Charlotte Ansell, published by flipped eye since 2002, has just had her forthcoming book, Deluge, a meditation on displacement, ageing, therapy, family, as well as social shifts like gentrification, selected as a Poetry Book Society Recommendation for Winter 2019. Deluge is Charlotte’s third book following her début pamphlet you were for the poem and the collection After Rain and is written with characteristic emotional honesty underpinned by years of craft.
